Hatha Yoga 

Yoga is practiced for its benefits in a global approach,

Hatha-Yoga is the most practiced yoga in the West. This type of yoga, through the precise and rhythmic practice of postures, allows the practitioner to master the body and the senses. ​

Hatha-Yoga is a sequence of postures (asanas in Sanskrit) very simple or more complicated.

Hatha-Yoga being a discipline for everyone, there are different levels depending on whether you are a beginner or more experienced in the discipline.

Unlike a gymnastics sequence, the postures must be maintained long enough: about 3 minutes per posture.

It is associated with breath control (pranayama) and concentration.

Yoga is increasingly used to improve the quality of life of individuals.

A study of seniors showed that those who practiced yoga for 6 months saw a significantly greater improvement in their quality of life than those who walked or the control group.

Yoga also improved their sleep quality and mood.
